Job summary

The College of West Anglia is seeking a Teaching Support Officer for the Ceramics/3D Art & Design department in Kings Lynn. You will support learners and staff in studios, ensuring resources and equipment are well-maintained and stocked, and assist with practical activities and resource preparation.

The role emphasizes hands-on ceramic workshops, kiln and pottery wheel support, and contribution to learning displays.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a related subject.
• Industry experience is desirable.
• Be willing to obtain Level 2 Maths and English if not already held.
• Experience in preparing ceramic materials such as slips, glazes, slabs and coils.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in studios across Ceramics and 3D Art & Design courses, ensuring resources and equipment are maintained and well-stocked.
• Support practical activities and help prepare teaching resources.
• Create and maintain inspiring displays to showcase learners' work.
