BestStart Fendalton is seeking a passionate Centre Manager to lead our warm and collaborative team. Located close to the Christchurch CBD, our centre is ideally positioned for convenience while offering a peaceful, nature-rich environment for tamariki to learn and grow.
We're proud of our well-established, close-knit team and the strong relationships we build with children and whānau. Our beautiful outdoor environment is shaded by mature trees, and our cosy indoor spaces create a homelike atmosphere where everyone feels they belong.
We provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 3 months to 6 years. Our Set for School programme supports our four-year-olds as they transition confidently to school, while our much-loved Excursion Programme encourages curiosity and exploration in the wider community, giving tamariki opportunities for real-world, hands-on learning.

About the Role
As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring your team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and creating an environment where tamariki can thrive. You'll bring strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to quality education, working closely with your established team and Area Manager to achieve great outcomes for children and families.
This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
