Join Our Halfords Garage Services Team

This is a really exciting time to join our team at one of our new Fusion centres, equipped with the latest facilities to provide a first-class customer experience and a great working environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving the centre's success, supported by an Assistant Manager and Workshop Controller. You'll lead a team of around 11 skilled technicians and customer service advisors to deliver seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record of leading teams to achieve success and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your centre, maximising profit and minimising loss. Delivering excellence, ensuring quality standards, and achieving results are central to your role.

You will optimise workforce scheduling to meet customer demand and analyze customer metrics and centre performance data. Leading your team to meet and exceed sales, margin, and profit targets is essential.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of exceeding customer metrics targets through effective management
  • Experience of delivering coaching/training to colleagues
  • Management experience, including managing capability and performance
  • Experience of developing colleagues through technical training
  • Proven success in meeting sales targets
  • Experience of ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of workforce scheduling and time management
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; aptitude to learn in-house systems
  • Valid full driving licence
