The Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital Health Technologies is a collaborative initiative between UCL and Ulster University, involving over 30 project partners across healthcare, industry, and charities. We aim to recruit around 80 PhD students across five cohorts, emphasizing interdisciplinary training, collaboration, and secondments with partners in healthcare and industry.
The training program equips students with skills in research, communication, and sector engagement, preparing them to identify clinical needs and contribute significantly to their research fields.
This role reports to the CDT Manager and collaborates closely with the Centre Management team. It is based jointly in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering’s Institute of Healthcare Engineering. The post involves coordinating secondments and partnerships, supporting strategic development, and operational delivery.
It is a 0.5 FTE position, project-managing collaborations with internal and external partners, including academia, industry, and healthcare sectors. The role requires excellent organization, attention to detail, and proactive engagement with stakeholders.
