Job summary

UPS Belfast Centre Clerk is recruiting a friendly, professional team member to welcome customers on reception, take calls and help resolve queries. You will liaise with customers, drivers and internal departments to support smooth operations and provide a high standard of service at all times.

The role involves 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 4.00pm, with on-going training and opportunities for progression within our global logistics organisation.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows applications.
• An excellent telephone manner.
• The ability to work well under pressure, often to strict deadlines.
• Flexibility to cope with changing duties and priorities – often at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Field customer concerns and queries
• Liaise with customers, drivers and internal departments to resolve any issues
• Take phone calls and provide a friendly welcome to customers on reception
• Take on a range of general admin duties using various UPS systems
