PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. is recruiting a Centralised Pharmacy Operative for MediPAC in Runcorn, Cheshire.

The role involves working in an automated facility to ensure medicines are correctly processed and prepared for distribution to Rowlands branches across England, Scotland and Wales. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services (or be willing to train toward it), demonstrate a proactive attitude, and be able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an automated/assembly environment is desirable.

Permanent role with full time hours - 40 Hours per week, working 5 days a week from 06:00 -14:30 Monday to Friday

About us: MediPAC is our facility in Runcorn that has been operating since June 2019 and provides “Hub and Spoke” solution for assembling repeat prescriptions in pharmacy.

We are one of the UKs largest automated pharmacies, using industry-leading technology; our site currently assembles in excess of 1 million repeat prescriptions a month. Our facility assembles over 16 million prescriptions annually for all Rowlands branches in England, Scotland and Wales.

About the Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity within the MediPAC facility as Centralised Pharmacy Operative, based in Runcorn, Cheshire.

You will participate in the automated facility to ensure the correct products are efficiently processed ready for distribution to the branch network for dispensing.

MediPAC is a registered Pharmacy that are currently looking for either an experienced NVQ2 or somebody willing to join in Pharmacy Servicesto work towards a Central Pharmacy operative qualification.

Who We Want:

Ideally you will have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent course if not you should be willing to undertake training to achieve the qualification.

We are looking someone who embraces change and is able to support the existing team to participate in new and future business initiatives. You will have a positive “can do” attitude.

Practical experience within a community pharmacy, hospital or manufacturing/industrial environment is a desirable.
