Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. in Runcorn is seeking a Centralised Dispensing Production Manager to lead safe, efficient and cost-effective centralised dispensing operations for retail pharmacy customers.

You will drive operational excellence, improve service levels and collaborate with multiple internal teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety across sites. A strong background in Lean and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant operational leadership experience within production, logistics, healthcare or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable operational performance improvements.
• Lean methodologies and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green Belt qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Centralised Dispensing Site Operations Managers, ensuring delivery of service, quality, people and financial objectives.
• Own operational strategy, budgets and performance objectives across the Centralised Dispensing estate.
• Drive the Continuous Improvement strategy, embedding Lean, Kaizen, problem-solving and visual management techniques throughout the operation.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, quality, governance and regulatory compliance across all sites.
• Work collaboratively with Retail Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain and Pharmacy teams to improve service levels, quality and customer outcomes.

Centralised Dispensing Production Manager

We’re looking for a Centralised Dispensing Production Manager to come join us, based at Runcorn. In this role you will lead the safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of centralised dispensing operations, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and outstanding service for retail pharmacy customers.

The heart of the role
