Job summary

French Consulting seeks a Center Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day operations for USO Centers near RAF Lakenheath. You will deliver excellent customer service, supervise volunteers, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for service members and their families.

The role covers coordinating programs and events, maintaining facilities, reporting on inventory and budgets, and collaborating with Center leadership and community partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in event management, marketing, retail, customer service, recreation facility, or related roles.
• Relevant experience in a non-profit, military, multicultural, and/or global organization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Center operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and clean environment.
• Monitor facilities and equipment to keep them ready for use.
• Engage with Center visitors and serve as subject matter expert on amenities, tours, classes, programs and services.
• Help manage vendors and stay within the Center budget.
• Monitor inventory and cash handling; provide data for reports.
• Prepare announcements, communications, and social media content.
• Plan, oversee, and evaluate programs, events, and activities with stakeholders.
• Coordinate volunteers and communicate shift openings, policy changes, and opportunities.
