Job summary

USO is seeking a Center Operations Specialist to manage daily operations at one or more USO Centers, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, inviting environment for service members and families.

The role supports program delivery, volunteer coordination, and communications in line with USO guidelines, with opportunities to lead events and activities that benefit military communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in event management, marketing, retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency with computers and office software is required.
• Experience with volunteer management software and social media is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day center operations with a focus on safety, cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere.
• Interact with visitors and explain center amenities, tours, and programs.
• Help manage inventory, cash handling and budget reporting.
