The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Gravedigger for Mortonhall Crematorium in Edinburgh. This full-time post (36 hours per week, 52 weeks) provides essential burial and grounds maintenance services within the city's cemetery network.

You will carry out burials operations, assist with exhumations, and ensure cemetery locations meet required standards. The role requires attention to paperwork and adherence to council behaviours.

Responsabilités

• Carry out burials operations as part of a funeral service provision.
• Carry out duties involved in the process of exhumation.
• Maintain cemetery locations including landscaping and grounds maintenance duties to ensure locations are kept at required cemetery standards.
• The postholder will be responsible for filling out statuary paperwork.
