Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Swansea is seeking an Associate Practitioner to join the Cellular Pathology department at Singleton or Morriston Hospital.

You will perform technical and clerical duties to receive and prepare specimens for dissection and microtomy, with a Band 4 locum role and an hourly rate of £14-£17.

The ideal candidate holds an HNC or equivalent and has cellular pathology experience; applications from those with relevant qualifications are welcome.

Qualifications

• Band 4 level experience in cellular pathology.
• Qualification in med lab sciences or related field (HNC, Foundation Degree, or NVQ 5).
• Experience in handling specimens and dissection prep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and clerical duties in receiving and preparing specimens for dissection and microtomy in Cellular Pathology.
• Ability to block book and plan your schedule in advance.
