Job summary

Keith Borer Consultants is seeking a Cell Site Analysis expert to join our forensic team. You will communicate with clients to define requirements, interpret RF survey results, and prepare mapping, as well as analyse Call Data Records for casework.

The role can be office-based in Durham or remote, with options for full or part-time hours. You will contribute to reports, peer review, advise Counsel, and help progress ISO 17025 accreditation while growing the service footprint.

Qualifications

• Organised and diligent, able to present complex issues clearly to laypersons and professionals.
• Experience in forensic arena and court attendance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Role overview

Keith Borer Consultants is a leading name in Forensic Science Consultancy and Expert Witness services. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who is passionate about Cell Site Analysisto join our established team of consultants.

The role involves:

• Communicating directly with customers to establish requirements and provide estimates
• Interpreting Radio Frequency Propagation survey results and preparing mapping
• Analysis of Call Data Records
• Preparation of written reports which are accurate and easy to understand
• Peer reviewing the reports of colleagues
• Advising Counsel, preparing joint expert statements and presenting evidence at Court
• Assisting in progressing towards ISO 17025 accreditation
• Growing and developing our Cell Site Analysis service, including engaging in marketing activities

To be considered for this role, in addition to having requisite technical knowledge, you will need to be organised and diligent, self-motivated, capable of working independently and have the ability to present complex scientific issues, both orally and in writing, to people with different levels of scientific understanding (lay persons, lawyers, peers etc.).

Experience of working in the forensic arena and attending court as an expert witness would also be advantageous.

The position can be office based (Durham) or filled remotely, and can be offered either full or part time. The standard working day is 7.5 hours; hours to be agreed between 08:00-17:30.

Travel throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland, and occasionally further afield, is to be expected. A full UK driver’s licence is required.
