Job summary

Vickerstock are partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Warrenpoint to recruit a Cell Maintenance Engineer. You will own machinery reliability within your production cell, performing planned maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvements to minimise downtime.

Working with the Engineering Manager and Cell team, you will plan maintenance activities, coordinate parts and OEM support, and maximise production performance using Maximo.

Qualifications

• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and fault prevention.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with engineering colleagues, production teams and OEM specialists.
• Focus on safe working practices and continuous improvement.
• Experience using Maximo or a similar CMMS would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cell machinery reliability and performance are maintained to the highest standards.
• Carry out maintenance activities safely and in accordance with safe systems of work.
• Identify maintenance requirements and plan work with the Engineering Manager and colleagues.
• Maximise process performance through machine calibrations and improvements.
• Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Communicate the progress of engineering work to relevant teams.
• Take an active role in cell-based improvement activities to reduce downtime.
• Support maintenance activities across other cells when required.
• Plan OEM interventions with management and coordinate with production planning.
