Job summary

Stealth - AI x Bio is seeking a hands-on cell biologist to run cell culture and cell-based assays for protein characterisation. You will manage mammalian lines from thaw through weekly plate-based assays, ensuring robust controls and variance tracking, with a focus on reproducibility and data integrity.

You will work in a small, elite team at a stealth startup, contributing to protocol refinement and eventual automation-ready workflows while maintaining thorough documentation for the broader

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mammalian cell culture: adherent and suspension lines, aseptic technique, and banking to a high standard.
• Experience running cell-based assays end to end with controls, replicates and dose–response curves.
• Comfort with plate-based work and the arithmetic of dilution series and plate maps.
• Careful, traceable record-keeping that others can follow.

Responsibilities

• Run cell culture and cell-based assays for protein characterisation. Maintain mammalian lines from thaw to banked stock and manage weekly seeding, treatment, reading and reporting.
• Operate 384-well plates with imaging-based or flow cytometry readouts; ensure controls/replicates and detect drift in plates, lines or reagents.
• Help design and tighten assay protocols toward automation-ready plate formats; record steps in a structured, machine-readable form.
