Citigroup Inc. in London seeks a Vice President – CEEMEA Emerging Markets Structured Credit Trader to lead a dedicated EM credit book, act as market-maker, and drive P&L with a robust client network.

The role requires deep EM credit expertise, cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Structuring, Risk and Tech, mentorship of juniors, and a focus on disciplined risk controls on CEEMEA sovereign and corporate credits.

Qualifications

• Senior, not entry-level; proven fixed income credit trading experience at a top-tier bank
• Deep CEEMEA sovereign and corporate credit knowledge
• Proven P&L track record managing dedicated trading books
• Strong technical and analytical skills in Bloomberg, electronic venues, Python, and Excel/VBA

Responsibilities

• Trading and risk management: Own and manage a dedicated EM credit book across cash bonds, CDS, and structured credit.
• Client franchise & coverage: Originate bespoke credit-linked trades and expand institutional client penetration.
• Desk leadership: Mentor junior traders and develop desk tooling, pricing analytics, and electronic trading workflows.
• Risk & governance: Partner with Risk, Finance, Compliance to maintain desk governance and risk controls.
• Talent & partnerships: Participate in hiring and internship program reviews.
