Job summary

WAGSTAFF INC in Doncaster seeks an experienced CDM Manager to lead design health and safety across complex automation projects. You will work with clients, designers, engineers and construction teams to embed CDM 2015 principles throughout design and delivery.

The role covers risk assessments, audits, training and pre-construction information, with a fixed-term contract to March 2028. Competitive salary £70,000-£80,000 plus pension, healthcare and career development opportunities across the UK

Qualifications

Experience with CDM processes and design risk management.
Strong knowledge of health, safety and regulatory requirements.
Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication with clients, designers and contractors.
Experience in industrial construction, logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing projects.

Responsibilities

Lead CDM compliance activities across design and construction.
Coordinate design risk assessments and hazard elimination workshops.
Review construction methods, sequences, lifting strategies and access.
Ensure Safe-by-Design principles address construction, maintenance and operation risks.
Coordinate Pre-Construction Information, H&S Files and risk registers.
Conduct CDM audits and deliver health and safety training.
