Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced CDM Advisor to join a major construction programme in Bridgwater, Somerset, with hybrid working. The role focuses on designing health and safety into the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, and coordinating PCI and Health & Safety File documentation.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and construction stakeholders to embed best practice in risk management and regulatory compliance across the project.

Qualifications

• Experience in CDM, construction safety or design risk management.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and relevant health and safety legislation.
• Health and safety CPD (e.g., NEBOSH Construction Certificate).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, pragmatic approach to risk management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and health and safety standards.
• Manage and maintain Design Risk Registers and communicate risks.
• Prepare, review and update PCI documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate Health and Safety File development with designers and principal contractors.
• Review design proposals to eliminate hazards or reduce risks.
• Support safe management of design changes and temporary works during construction.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide CDM guidance and promote best practices.
