Job summary

STC Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced CCTV/Access Control Engineer for a full-time, permanent position. The role is primarily field-based across East Anglia, with an office near Ipswich, Suffolk.

You will install, service and maintain CCTV and access control systems, working independently or in a small team. The package includes a salary of £30,000-£35,000 per year, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, company vehicle with optional private use, uniform, PPE, tools, ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience CCTV and/or access control installation, servicing or maintenance.
• Working knowledge of IT equipment.
• Full UK driving licence; DBS check; physically capable of lifting weights.

• Installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV and access control systems at customer sites.
• Diagnosing faults and resolving issues on site.
• Assisting with job planning, parts ordering and record keeping.
• Delivering professional customer service while maintaining safety standards.
• Supporting weighing engineers with equipment servicing when required.

We are looking for an experienced CCTV / Access Control Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a primarily field-based, Monday-Friday role covering East Anglia, with a modern purpose-built office and workshop located near Ipswich, Suffolk.

About the role

You will install, service and maintain CCTV, access control and security systems across customer sites, working independently and within a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV and access control systems
• Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues
• Assisting with job planning, parts ordering and accurate records
• Delivering professional customer service and maintaining safety standards
• Supporting weighing engineers with equipment servicing and installation when required

About you

You will have previous CCTV and/or access control installation, servicing or maintenance experience, alongside a working knowledge of IT equipment.

You’ll be organised, practical and confident troubleshooting faults, managing your workload and building positive customer relationships.

A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the ability to climb ladders, lift equipment and undergo a DBS check. You must be physically capable of lifting weights when assisting weighing engineers.
