Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Security Operations Centre professional to support emergency call handling, CCTV monitoring and incident investigation across sites in the UK. The role requires BPSS/SC clearance, a CCTV licence, and a full UK driving licence.

Flexibility to cover days, nights and weekends is essential. You will work as part of a team with strong customer service skills, have advanced computer skills, and be able to write logs and reports while coordinating with multiple agencies as

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with 5-year checkable history.
• Must be willing and able to pass BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Flexible to cover days, nights and weekends (short notice possible).
• CCTV licence (required).
• Full UK Driving Licence (required).
• 1–2 years in a Security Operational Centre role.
• Advanced computer skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to write routine logs and reports.
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Call Handling: manage medical emergency calls and notify responders across sites.
• Fire Alarm System Management: handle notifications and mobilise on-site services.
• Aerodrome Emergencies: notify and mobilise resources as needed.
• Agency Coordination: mobilise county services per SOPs.
• Out-of-Hours Emergency Calls: handle calls for customers and other business areas.
• CCTV Vigilance: regular camera checks, report faults promptly.
• Incident Investigation: investigate on-site incidents using CCTV and access control software.
• Training and Flexibility: undertake new training across SOC functions.
• Ad Hoc Duties: perform additional tasks as requested by supervisor.
