Job summary

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Assistant to join our Edinburgh-based team. This full-time role involves managing increased workload across our network, maintaining customer service, and ensuring all work aligns with approved safety procedures.

You will update site records on a tablet and support site operations. Key responsibilities include adhering to health and safety standards, reporting hazards, and maintaining equipment and PPE.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Banksman qualification optional but desirable.
• Emergency First Aid and EUSR National Water Hygiene are advantageous.
• NRSWA knowledge is preferred.
• Manual Handling awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain great customer service and communication.
• Adhere to absence reporting procedures.
• Update site documentation using an electronic tablet.
• Carry out works in line with approved method statements and safe systems of work.
• Report issues or hazards following company procedures.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate machinery and tools safely to assist with various tasks.
• Maintain equipment and PPE in good condition.

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Assistant to manage our increased workload to our growing network.

• Location: Edinburgh
• Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
• Salary: £13.00 per hour

About the Role

As a CCTV Assistant, you will:

• Maintain great customer service and communication
• Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
• Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work.
• Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment.

Experience and Qualifications:(Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
