Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced CCNSG Labourers to join a well-established steelworks contractor in Port Talbot. This long-term temporary to permanent opportunity requires a valid CCNSG Safety Passport, with a day shift 8am–4pm on offer and a pathway to permanent employment.

You’ll work as part of a professional site team, supporting day-to-day operations while upholding high health and safety standards. A valid CCNSG passport or ability to obtain one is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport is required or candidates must be able to obtain one.
• Previous labourer or industrial/steelworks experience is desirable.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties across the steelworks site.
• Support tradespeople and site teams with day-to-day activities.
• Assist with moving materials, equipment and tools.
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe working areas.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a busy industrial environment.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced CCNSG Labourers to join a well-established steelworks contractor in Port Talbot.

This is a long-term temporary to permanent opportunity for reliable and hardworking candidates looking to build a career within an industrial environment. A valid CCNSG Safety Passport is required, although candidates who are able to obtain one may also be considered.

You’ll work as part of a professional site team, supporting day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Requirements

• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or ability to obtain one.
• Previous experience as a Labourer or within an industrial/steelworks environment is desirable.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Methodical, calm and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and site procedures.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport are essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
