Job summary

ALPLA Group seeks Technical Packers in Mansfield (NG18) to ensure containers meet customer specifications and maintain product standards. This role involves checking labels, reporting defects, and upholding health and safety protocols.

Work hours include a 3-shift rotation from Monday to Friday. Employees enjoy benefits like generous pension contributions, life assurance, employee discounts, and full training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the product being packed meets the required specification.
• Report any defects to Supervision.
• Check that each label is correct for the product being packed.
• Ensure goods are properly wrapped and report any faults immediately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

Skills

Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Awareness of H&S requirements

Purpose of the role

To ensure that containers are packed to the customer's specification.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the product being packed meets the required specification. To report any defects to Supervision.
• To ensure the packaging is of an acceptable standard, removing any cartons, trays, etc. which do not meet the required specification.
• To check that each label is the correct one for the product being packed. To ensure that the date and packer no. is clearly marked on each label.
• To ensure that goods are properly wrapped and to report any faults immediately to supervision.
• To ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
• To carry out all duties in accordance with health and safety practice.

Experience / Attributes

• Previous experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Awareness of H&S requirements within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communicate skills – written and verbal

Monday – Friday 3 Shift Rotation (6am‑2pm / 2pm‑10pm / 10pm‑6am)

Salary: £27,234.69
