Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Registered Nurse to become a Practice Educator in CCDE. The post holder will drive learning within the Community, Cancer, Diagnostics and End of Life Division and will be predominantly linked to community education and development.

The role involves delivering core skills training, patient safety training, and supporting induction, preceptorship and band 3 development across CCDE, with flexible working across the division

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner with professional registration.
• Teaching and supervision qualifications or evidence of assessing and supervision.
• Ability to facilitate multidisciplinary relationships.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality multi professional learning environments within the CCDE division.
• Develop and promote inter professional learning opportunities across services.
• Support and facilitate core skills and patient safety training initiatives.

Education

Registered Practitioner (NMC / HCPC registered)

Professional qualification to minimum degree level or diploma
