Spire Manchester Hospital is recruiting a Cath Lab Nurse to join a warm, friendly team in a permanent, full-time role in Manchester. You will scrub for PCI, devices and EP cases and provide expert Cath Lab support to the multidisciplinary cardiology team.

The role requires a BSc Hons in Nursing (or equivalent), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cardiology and proven Cath Lab experience. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

• Bachelor-level nursing degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent.
• Post-Graduate Diploma in Cardiology providing specialist knowledge.
• Postgraduate experience in cardiology.
• Experience scrubbing for PCI, devices and EP is essential.
• Ability to apply clinical reasoning to a range of complex cases.
• Competence across Cardiology/Cath Lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cardiology Services Manager in day-to-day Cath Lab operations.
• Scrub for PCI, devices and EP cases.
• Undertake clinical Cath Lab duties.
• Act as a Specialist Cardiology resource for the multidisciplinary team at Spire Healthcare.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To assist the Cardiology Services Manager in the running of the Cath Lab on a day-to-day basis
• Scrub for PCI, devices and EP cases
• To undertake clinical Cath Lab duties
• To act as a Specialist Cardiology resource for the multi-disciplinary team within Spire Healthcare

Who we're looking for:

• Degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent (minimum qualification)
• Post-Graduate Diploma in specialist Cardiology providing specialist skill and knowledge and expertise.
• Post graduate experience in relevant specialism
• Experience in scrubbing for PCI, Devices and EP is essential
• Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied cases
• Competence across a range of Cardiology/ Cath Lab skills supported by highly skilled professional and specialist knowledge.
