Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to cover sites around Dorking and Guildford. This mobile role operates term-time only, with 27.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, across 38 weeks per year.

You will need your own transport to travel between locations. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking and presenting meals to required standards, ensuring health and safety, and supporting location management with budgeting and team supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering for sites or schools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure locations meet Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements and environmental legislation.
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
• Support day-to-day running of the location and supervise teams, including inventories, budgets and action plans.

We are hiring for a Relief Chef Manager to provide cover in the area of Dorking and Guildford to support our existing site-based teams This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £15.60 per hour
• 27.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that our locations meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
