Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Mobile Cook to provide cover across Widnes & Runcorn. The role is term-time only with 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across 38 weeks per year, and requires your own transport.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, follow food safety and health and safety procedures, help manage inventories and budgets, and support day-to-day site operations while upholding the company's inclusive values.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience is essential.
• Kraft courses or City & Guilds qualifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards.
• Follow all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures and complete required paperwork.
• Help maintain Caterlink's reputation for high-quality food and service.
• Assist with day-to-day running of the location, including inventories and budgets.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Mobile Cook to provide cover in the area of Widnes & Runcorn area to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £14.50 per hour.
• 27.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
