Job summary

Caterlink is recruiting a Chef to cover the Surrey area (Guildford and Surrounding area). This term-time only role (38 weeks/year) operates Monday to Friday with no weekends and requires you to have your own transport for a mobile-based position.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to high standards while following Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, and support on-site operations including inventories and budget monitoring.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the Surrey area(Guildford and Surrounding area)to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• up to £15.00per hour
• 27.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
