Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Chef to provide cover in Lewisham and Newham, supporting our site-based teams. The role is term-time only with no weekends and requires your own transport for a mobile-based position.

Key duties include preparing and presenting meals to required standards, following all safety procedures, and contributing to the site’s daily operations including inventory and budget monitoring. Caterlink promotes an inclusive environment and safeguarding responsibilities.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the areas of Lewisham and Newhamto support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £19per hour
• 30hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
