Caterlink is hiring a Chef at The Ridgeway Primary School, Reading. This term-time only role offers 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 38.6 weeks per year (3 cleaning days included).

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed, and that paperwork is completed with integrity. DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at The Ridgeway Primary School, Reading who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

• £13.50 per hour
• 27.5hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - working 38.6weeks per year (3 cleaning days included)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
