Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef for The Ridgeway Primary School, Reading. The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering 27.5 hours per week at £13.50 per hour.

The contract is aligned with school terms (38.6 weeks per year), including three cleaning days. The successful candidate will prepare, cook and present nutritious meals, follow food safety and health & safety procedures, and help manage inventories and budgets under supervision.

• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
