Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Chef at Joseph Chamberlain College, Birmingham. The role aims to provide nutritionally balanced and tasty food for pupils and staff.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only (Weeks 40). Responsibilities include preparing, cooking and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards, while upholding Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Professional Cookery preferred; proven catering kitchen experience essential.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to- week running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at Joseph Chamberlain College,Birmingham. who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food.

The role:

• 37.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term Time Only working Weeks 40Weeks

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client

Qualifications
