Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant at Kingsford Community School to perform a range of food production and service tasks within our school kitchens. The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, with 37 weeks of active work per year and no weekend shifts.

The successful candidate will support in meal preparation, adhere to health and safety standards, keep areas clean, and provide a friendly, efficient dining experience for pupils and staff, promoting Caterlink’s fresh

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Kingsford Community Schoolto perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £14.80per hour
• 25hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 37weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
