Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant for JCOSS to perform a variety of food production tasks and food service in schools. This term-time only role offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekends off for flexibility.

Salary is £12.71 per hour, with DBS disclosure required. This role supports safeguarding and aims to provide friendly, efficient service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness in school kitchens.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at JCOSS,to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 25hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
