Caterlink is recruiting a Catering Assistant at Cornwallis Academy, Maidstone. The role is term-time only, 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 8.45am–2.45pm, 38 weeks per year, at £12.71 per hour.

You will assist in food prep and service in our schools, maintaining high health and safety standards and a clean, friendly dining environment. This position involves representing Caterlink, upholding the company brand, and supporting pupils and staff with hygienic, efficient service.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Cornwallis Academy, Maidstoneto perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 30 hours per week working Monday – Friday - 8.45am- 2.45pm
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
