Job summary

Peopleplus seeks a tutor to deliver catering qualifications on-site at HMP Sudbury, working with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting their long-term goals and aspirations.

Our Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Catering qualification is required.
• Experience delivering vocational based training.
• Ability to use varied training methods to engage learners.
• Teaching or assessing qualification is desirable during probation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver catering qualifications to small groups of prison learners on-site.
• Develop and monitor training plans to support learners' long-term goals.
• Provide guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality course delivery.
• Support learners to reach their potential through varied teaching methods.
