Job summary

Peopleplus is seeking an on-site Generalist Tutor at HMP Edinburgh to deliver vocational tutoring to small groups of prison-based learners. You will develop training plans, provide guidance and support, and help learners progress toward their long-term goals.

Job description

Based on-site at HMP Edinburgh, you will deliver Generalist Tutoring, working with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.

Our Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that the advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential. This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week.
