Catering Team Shift Lead - Clophill

Position: Catering Team - Shift Lead

Location: Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve

Status: Zero Hours staff (The position currently runs on a 3 days one week and 4 days the second week but can change dependant on season)

Term / Hours: Weekend and Peak holiday Cover - Various hours

Salary: £13 (hourly rate)

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Greensand Trust is looking for a catering team leader to add to our growing catering team. Our ethos is fresh, quality and local and you will be working with the catering team to deliver a quality experience to visitors.

Working at our café facility at Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve with magnificent views across the countryside and lakes, working in our Takeaway Outlet, you will have a unique opportunity to help develop our offer to visitors to match that of this superb location.

The ideal person will have to have experience in catering and be confident in a busy Catering Servery providing food and drink options. You must also have the ability to adhere to day-to-day kitchen management, and have excellent communication skills and lead a small team.

You will be required to provide front of house service, as well as preparing food in our small kitchen and act as first line of contact for our visitors. You must be prepared to work supporting our catering team on weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday periods.
