Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a general assistant to support day-to-day food and service delivery in a school setting. You will help prepare, serve and present meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The role emphasizes allergen controls, accurate labelling, and strong customer service for pupils, staff and visitors. Flexibility, teamwork and a can-do attitude are valued for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK demonstrated.
• Experience in contract or high-volume catering is preferred.
• Health & safety knowledge is desirable.
• Flexible, customer-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with labelling, temperature checks and allergen controls.

• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
