Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking enthusiastic and reliable catering assistants to support the day-to-day food and service delivery across the school. You will help prepare, serve, and present meals to a high standard, ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive nutritious meals served with care.

This role requires good health and safety knowledge, a flexible, customer-focused approach, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service is beneficial.
• Knowledge of food safety and allergen controls is desirable.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls.

• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard

• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls, Our respectful codes of conduct inform how we behave towards our clients and customers, suppliers and business partners, and each other.
  Ideally have experience working within contract, or high-volume catering
• Possess a good Health & Safety knowledge
