A UK discount retailer is seeking a Catering Team Leader in Amesbury to oversee onsite catering operations. Responsibilities include managing team members, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining high service standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in a fast-paced catering or hospitality setting, relevant hygiene certifications, and strong communication skills. This position offers £13.50 per hour for a 31-hour work week with various employee benefits.
We are recruiting for a number of Catering Team Leaders to join our Catering Team here in our Amesbury Distribution Centre.
You will support the Catering Manager in leading our onsite Catering Team to provide an excellent catering experience for our Home Bargains colleagues and visitors. You will also ensure the delivery of canteen performance targets and that all food safety and health and safety standards are met. You will take responsibility for financial control and accountability of cash handling, wage cost control and stock and order budgeting.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a fast paced catering or hospitality environment, leading a team and is passionate about providing customers with a great dining experience. You will be welcoming and approachable with excellent communication skills, acting as an ambassador for the function.
