Caron Group is seeking a Catering Support to assist in meal preparation and service across its network of care homes in mid and south Wales. You will help ensure nutritious meals meet residents’ dietary needs and support with service, stock, and cleanliness in a welcoming, family-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality, with opportunities for development and progression within clinical and non-clinical departments across the company.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and cooking meals as directed.
• Completing cleaning schedules.
• Maintaining very high standards of cleanliness.
• Monitor fridge / freezer temperatures.
• Report to Hospitality Coordinator for any concerns.
• Complete ongoing file for Health & Safety.
• Wash up dishes, pots and pans and sterilise.
• Keep china, cutlery and beakers in a very clean state.
• Monitor stock rotation.
• Maintain balanced diet for residents.
• Ensure knowledge of residents with special diet or allergies.
• Have awareness of diabetics and their special diet.
• Assist Hospitality Coordinator in the ordering, storage and provision of food.
• Keep surfaces clean and sterilised.
• Keep appliances clean and safe.
