Caron Group is seeking a Catering Support to join a family of care homes in mid and south Wales. You will assist the Chef in preparing meals, ensuring nutritional content and dietary needs are met, while supporting service delivery and maintaining high hygiene standards.

• Completing cleaning schedules

• Monitor fridge / freezer temperatures
• Report to Hospitality Coordinator for any concerns
• Complete ongoing file for Health & Safety
• Wash up dishes, pots and pans put through the steriliser
• Keep china, cutlery and beakers in a very clean state
• Monitor stock rotation
• Maintain balanced diet for residents
• Ensure knowledge of residents with special diet or allergies
• Have awareness of the diabetics and their special diet
• Assist Hospitality Coordinator in the ordering, storage and provision of food
• Keep surfaces clean and sterilised
• Keep appliances clean and safe

About The Role

Role Overview

We are seeking a Catering Support to join our family of Care Homes. As a Catering Support, you will support the Chef/Cook in ensuring the nutritional content of the meals provided and cater for the dietary needs of all individuals. You will support with meal service and provide refreshments for the individuals and visitors such as crockery, cutlery, glassware and dry foods etc.
