Job summary

Baxterstorey is seeking a Catering Supervisor for the Spennymoor Leisure Centre. This full-time position requires 35 hours per week over five days.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, ensure food quality, and foster a positive working environment aligned with our values: Teamwork, Food, Pride, and Planet. Located at the heart of Spennymoor, the role includes various responsibilities from training staff to managing food service operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Keen to learn on the job.
• Hold Food Safety Level 2 (or be able to achieve on appointment).

Responsibilities

• Set to work all General Assistants at the start of their shift.
• Deliver on-the-job instruction and coaching to team members.
• Monitor and provide feedback to team members daily.
• Support team members with customer service skills.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with H&S legislation.
