Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee daily catering operations, ensure spotless food safety and service standards, and drive staff induction and training. You will manage stock, maintain health and safety policies, and support achieving a five-star hygiene rating.

You will lead a busy team in a customer-focused environment, ensuring efficient service and adherence to policies while contributing to a supportive, development-focused workplace with a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in a catering/hospitality setting.
• Experience preparing food, ordering and monitoring stock.
• Strong customer service skills in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day catering operations within the centre.
• Ensure cleaning and food standards policies are followed and a high service level is maintained.
• Lead recruitment through induction of new starters and training.
• Prepare monthly stocktake spreadsheets and maintain inventory.
• Work to achieve a five-star Food Hygiene Rating.
