Job summary

Impact Food Group, based at Aldridge School in Walsall, is seeking a Catering Supervisor/Driver to support the Chef Manager in daily kitchen operations. You will supervise a section, lead the team during service and ensure a hygienic, efficient dining experience for pupils.

You will pack food, drive the IFG van for local deliveries, serve meals and manage checkout and till duties. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

• Experience in catering or retail is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive, team‑minded approach.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Supervisor/ Driver

School Location: Based Aldridge School , Walsall, WS9 0BG- DEliver to Ryders Hayes

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8am-2pm (30hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £17,640 per Annum

What will I be doing?

As a Catering Supervisor, you’ll support the Chef Manager in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to lead a team that delivers a high-quality food service.

THis role is supporting a local primary school, you will pack the food, drive an IFG van, deliver, serve and clear down and return back to Aldridge school

FULL MAUAL UK DRIVING LISCENCE ESSENTIAL

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Chef Manager by supervising a section of the kitchen
• Leading and motivating team members during service
• Delivering a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
• Assisting with the preparation of food and snacks
• Providing counter service and operating the till
• Ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards
