Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Catering Assistant at Danes Hill School in Leatherhead. The role runs Monday to Friday, 11am–3pm (20 hours per week) with 34.4 working weeks per year, paying £9,984 per annum.

You will support our catering teams in delivering freshly prepared meals to students and assist with plating, service, and kitchen duties. Experience in catering or hospitality is preferred, with a passion for food and high standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support our high-standard catering teams, helping deliver fresh, beautifully presented meals to students in ourindependentschools.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving meals and snacks to a high standard
• Assisting with plating, presentation, and counter service
• Supporting the kitchen team with food prep
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Providing friendly and professional service to all students and staff

What we’re looking for:

• Experience incatering or hospitality (School catering is prefereable but not essential)
• A passion for food and high standards
• Teamwork skills and reliability
• Flexible approach to working hours to support school schedules
