Job description

Equans is recruiting for a Catering Supervisor to join our team in the Cleveland & Durham Police Tactical Training Centre, Urlay Nook Stockton on Tees, TS16 0QB. This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. On offer is salary of £26,886.38 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm with 30 in lunch break.

Background Checks

This role includes a DS Basic check; therefore ability to pass is essential.

What will you deliver?

You will oversee the running of the canteen facility including the preparation and cooking of food and beverages, ordering of all food and non-food items for service provision; to be particularly responsible for strict personal hygiene and the hygiene of Staff ensuring compliance with work performance governing environmental health regulation, menu, and stock control. Ensure efficient and friendly service, and there is always effective communication with the Account Manager.

Who are we looking for?

Must be knowledgeable in the theory of cooking, demonstrating good practical cooking techniques
and the ability in this knowledge
Must have previous experience of working in a similar catering establishment and supervising a
catering team
Must have an understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety Management Systems.
Ideally hold or working towards Food Safety Level 3 Certificate
Ideally hold or working towards HACCP Level 3 Certificate
Ideally hold IOSH Supervising Safety but not mandatory.
Ideally hold a current First Aid qualification but not mandatory
