Elior UK, delivering school catering services at Mount Carmel High School, is hiring for a term-time, full-time catering role in Manchester. You’ll contribute to creating nutritious meals, support daily operations, and help lead the catering team to maintain high standards.

This role is ideal for someone who loves food service in an education setting and thrives in a collaborative environment. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week during term time, with responsibilities spanning

• Experience in a catering or education catering environment.
• Natural ability to support and motivate others with a team-first approach.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced catering operation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, safety practices and compliance standards.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to supporting daily operations.
• Genuine passion for delivering quality food and service.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, welcoming dining experience for students with fresh, nutritious meals.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the catering operation and service.
• Guide, encourage and develop your team to deliver a high-quality operation.
• Get hands-on with food preparation and ensure meals are delivered to a high standard.
• Help manage stock, deliveries and kitchen organisation.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
