Job summary

NHS Ayrshire and Arran are seeking a Stores Person for the main kitchen at University Hospital Crosshouse. You will be responsible for stock ordering, receipt processing, stock rotation and maintaining high hygiene standards to support patient meals and staff services.

The role runs 0630-1300, Monday to Friday, on a permanent basis. Desirable for a Food Hygiene Certificate and you will complete mandatory training and induction after joining the team of dedicated catering staff.

Qualifications

• Desirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or willing to complete within 3 months.
• Attends Corporate Induction and mandatory training as required.

Responsibilities

• Order stock and manage stock rotation.
• Process goods received notes and reconcile with admin.
• Maintain HACCP and environmental health hygiene standards.
• Assist with general catering duties as required.
