Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Defence is hiring a Storeman to support operations on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) across the ABW estate. You will manage stores, stock control, and deliveries while complying with health and safety standards.

Candidates should be fluent in English, have a positive, self-motivated approach, and be able to work unsupervised. A full driving licence is required and familiarity with basic office software is desirable.

Qualifications

• Good communicator able to liaise confidently with customers and engage with team members.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Able to speak & understand English; adaptable and patient.
• Follows procedures, maintains hygiene and safety standards.
• Full Driving Licence required and flexible to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance in stores, CFB, and public areas per service agreements.
• Maintain and update all Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork correctly when required.
• Report accidents and near misses to your Manager and address hazards promptly.
• Ensure proper control, issue, and receipt of all food deliveries and stock transfers.
• Display promotional materials and merchandising while complying with labeling requirements.
